Psoriasis

During the two weeks to stop the curve in March 2020, I began to go on a search for all kinds of “what the heck is really going on here?”

That’s a whole ‘nother story, but maybe there’s a connection.

I began to figure out that some of my health problems that my doctors pushed aside as not worthy of their time, really, were maybe some of my biggest problems.

I have two (and maybe more but they aren’t as urgent for me now.

  1. I am obese.  There’s just no other way to say it.  Oh yes there are nicer ways, but this is the thing.  Over the past 50 years, I gained one or two pounds every year.  I look pretty much like my maternal grandmother did.
  2. I have psoriasis.  It’s not bad, It’s only around my ankles, so I guess I’m exceptionally lucky!  Nevertheless, it almost daily gives me a few hours of incapacitating pain, or itching or one that ultimately leads to the other.  So that is an enormous energy drainer, and I have had this condition since the last century.  Yes – since the 1990’s.  So it occurs to me, hey, Louise, get a grip.   Do the research, see what resonates as possibilities and take action.   That is why I’m writing this post series.
